Java + Elasticsearch backend engineer with strong German. Design scalable Java microservices, event-driven
architecture, containerized deployments, CI/CD. Deep Elasticsearch expertise (Query DSL, mappings,
relevance/scoring). Enterprise Search (App Search, Workplace Search, connectors, web crawler).
Consulting-comfortable with business stakeholders.
Must have

3+ years hands-on Elasticsearch (Query DSL/API, mappings, relevance/scoring, indexed data structures)

1+ year Elastic Enterprise Search (App Search, Workplace Search, connectors, web crawler)

Assess/explain what is technically feasible in Elasticsearch vs business requirements

Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Review requirements/specs + provide constructive technical feedback

1+ year supporting/working alongside business/functional teams (BA, Product) - strong plus

Strong communication - bridge business needs and technical implementation
